Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa – Opening in 2011?
In 2009 and 2010, we have seen quite a few luxury 5 star hotels opening in Ningbo city center like 'Shangri-La Hotel', a bit earlier was 'Sofitel Wanda', right now it's the magnificent 'Nanyuan Universe Hotel' opening in Yinzhou. By the end of the year should be 'The Westin Hotel' right next to Tianyi Square. Wooooww! That's fantastic to see so many brand new hotels in the heart of the city. It shows that Ningbo is definitely growing up as a modern and international city! But what about Resorts? No matter who you are, an expatriate under business pressure or a family with kids, I'm sure you've been wishing you could sometimes get away from town in a place to relax. Well we already have wonderful places for examples like 'Huacheng New Century Resort Jiulong Lake' in Zhenhai district or 'Ningbo Dapengshan Hotel' in Cixi with its huge Theme Park but 2011 will see even more new Resorts opening in Ningbo. Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa will be another choice and the hotel is already under construction for quite a while. It is located on the banks of the magnificent Dongqian lake about 25 minutes ride from Ningbo city center.

As you can see some big work has been done but all the interior decoration needs to be done. We estimated the remaining work about 1 year. So according to OUR estimation, the place should be ready in 2011. Could be inaugurated for the next Chinese New Year? or a bit later. Of course today is much too early to give an accurate schedule but stay tuned with NingboHOTELreview and you might be the first to know the exact opening date.
